In this tutorial I will show you how to rip a CD into high quality m4a (alac) file using iTunes that will play on ipod, ipad, iphone and ipods. Just follow the instructions below.
- Insert CD into the CD drive.
- Open iTunes.
- On iTunes sidebar click on Audio CD.
- Click on Import Settings bottom right corner.
- Import Settings window pops up. Set Import Using value as “Apple Lossless Encoder” from the drop down menu.
- Finally click on Import CD button right next to the Import Settings button.
- The import process will begin now. Wait few minutes and you are done.
